Freshly cleaned fabric is at its most absorbent. Without a protector, the first glass of wine or muddy paw soaks straight in. With Ultra Protection, liquid sits on the surface long enough for you to blot it up with a towel.
It also helps with everyday soil. Dirt and body oils don’t bond to the fibres as easily, so they vacuum and clean out more easily, and the fabric stays looking clean for longer between cleans.
You can add it to any sofa, chair, rug or carpet we clean. It’s especially worth it on light colours, high-traffic areas, dining chairs, and any home with kids or pets.

Traffic lanes, spots and pet areas get a plant-based pre-treatment to loosen what’s stuck.

Hot water from the truck-mounted unit rinses deep, and strong suction pulls the dirt and moisture back out.

We groom the fibres so they dry evenly. Most carpet is dry in 3 to 6 hours.

Is fabric protector worth it?
On upholstery, almost always. Sofas and dining chairs get spills, body oils and pet hair every day, and they’re expensive to replace. On carpet, it’s most worth it on light colours, stairs and hallways.
Is Ultra Protection the same as Scotchgard?
It does the same job. Scotchgard is a brand name; Ultra Protection is what we call the protector we use.
How long does it last?
It wears down with use and cleaning, so it lasts longer on a formal chair than on the family couch. Most people reapply it each time the piece is professionally cleaned.
Does it make fabric stain-proof?
No protector makes fabric stain-proof. It buys you time. Blot spills quickly and most will come up without a trace.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We use plant-based cleaning solutions that are safe for kids and pets, and we rinse them out with hot water, so nothing sticky is left behind to attract dirt.
