Wool rugs get cleaned at a wool-safe pH so the fibres and dyes stay healthy. Synthetic rugs can take hot water extraction. We check for colour bleed first on any rug with strong dyes, and we groom the pile and clean the fringe before we leave.
Pricing is per rug: a rug bigger than 10×8 is $90, and a smaller rug is $45, before the current promo. Send us a photo of the rug and its tag when you book, so we know the fibre before we arrive. Hand-knotted, silk or antique rugs get a closer look first, and we’ll tell you honestly if one needs specialist off-site washing.
Rugs over hardwood dry best flat, with a fan or the heat running. Thick wool piles take longer than flat-weaves, so plan to keep furniture off the rug until the evening.

How long does a rug take to dry?
Most rugs are dry the same day. Thin and flat-weave rugs dry fastest, thick wool piles take longest. Keep it flat, run a fan, and keep furniture off it until it’s dry.
